Todays Recipe

Today I am sharing one of my favorite recipes.I had bought a bag of individually frozen salmon filets at my local SAM's Club and searched the web for an easy recipe that would not require me to run out to the grocery store for necessary ingredients but used those that I already had on hand in my pantry. When I was unable to find one that would work completely I got some ideas and decided to try to make my own using ingredients on hand and flavors I like. It turned out pretty good. I made it once for my daughter who really didn't care for salmon but she loved it and now eats salmon on a regular basis. Here's what I came up with.

 Marinated Grilled Salmon
 4 Thawed Salmon Filets

 Marinade
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
 1/4 Cup Teriyaki Sauce
 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
 2 Tablespoons Guldens Zesty Mustard
 2 Tsp Lemon Juice
 2 Tsp Lime Juice

Mix ingredients together in microwavable bowl. Stir until well blended. Microwave on high until it comes to a boil. Simmer until it thickens to a syrup consistency. Remove from heat. Use basting brush to coat salmon filets on all sides with marinade. Heat grill until hot.Brush grill grates with olive oil. Lay filets on hot grill and close lid. Cook about 5-7 minutes on each side or until salmon flakes. I serve this with wild rice and steamed broccoli. I simmer any remaining marinade and serve with salmon.
